“Fiesta” in Universum at UNAM

La fiesta de Ciencias y Humanidades is going to take place in the UNAM`s Universum this Thursday and Friday 4th and 5th of the current month. October.

The esplanade Universum Science Museum will host workshops, lectures, conferences, meeting points, artistic and cultural activities that allow the exchange of ideas among leading researchers and university students.

The Coordination of Scientific Research and the Humanities, will be present through its Centers, Programs and Institutes, as well as the Faculty of Sciences.

Remember the fallen

In October 2nd, 1968, president Diaz Ordaz ordered the soldiers to stop a revolt made by students in Tlatelolco. Facing the mexican army, the students and teachers were standing up for their rights and stood up by their beliefs. This made the president very angry, he did not want to show the world he was making bad decisions along with the current government. So he authorized the soldiers to shoot the students and teachers. Even armed tanks were delivered to Tlatelolco. Many were brutally assassinated by the militia.
We will never forget this horrible incident.

MUCA

Last week we had to check on a museum. So I went to the MUCA Museo Universitario de Ciencias y Arte. Its very interesting. And I hope you can visit the museum soon.

The theme on the fist floor lets you be reflexive on the publicity on our every day steps on the street. Also shows the slang on our streets.

Unfortunately in Mexico city there has been disaster. Few years back, two pipes from Pemex exploded. And in a different spot, there was a big quake that opened the earth into greatdeeps.
