On September 16 of 1810, lead by Miguel Hidalgo, the mexican people, stood up against a tirany and the spanish crown to become a free country 10 years after. We celebrate this day as the biggest event of all and we go all out. Neither banks nor schools are open this day. Happy independence day, despite the president and type of opressing government and system we live under.
